The Townsville & Districts Mendi Blackhawk’s mission statement is closely connected to the Army’s values of teamwork, tradition, pride, courage and commitment to excellence. Our name “Blackhawks” strongly reflects Townsville’s support and dedication to our defence force and recognises Townsville’s history as one of the biggest Black Hawk defence bases in the country.
Our supporters can now join us in supporting our armed forces by purchasing our Camo Jerseys! We will be wearing our Green Camo Jersey in Round 2 at our AWAY game against the Ipswich Jets at the North Ipswich Reserve on Sunday 15th March 2015.
Our Pink Camo Jersey, specially cut for our female supporter base, will be making an appearance in our Women in League round which is yet to be announced. The Green Camo is available in Men’s and Children’s sizes and the Pink Camo is available in Ladies sizes. All jerseys can be purchased at Reception in Brothers Leagues Club.
