CC Cup & MM Cup Teams Round 7

Thursday, April 14, 2016

Our two junior Townsville Blackhawks teams head into their final round of competition on top of their respective pools. The Mal Meninga Squad sit four points clear of their nearest rival on 12 points and the Cyril Connell Squad are equal first with the Northern Pride on 10 points.

The Mal Meninga squad will be heading into the final round keen to keep their perfect record in tact ahead of playing their Quarter Final in front of a home crowd at Jack Manski Oval on Sunday 24th April 2016 at 2pm prior to the Townsville & Districts Mendi Blackhawks Anzac Round Clash with the Northern Pride in the Intrust Super Cup.

The Cyril Connell squad will be looking to get back in the winner’s circle after a narrow 30-24 loss to the rival table-topping Pride in Round 6. The side will need to win and remain ahead of the Northern Pride on For and Against in order to secure themselves a home Quarter Final on Sunday 24th April.
