Cowboys and Blackhawks Launch Joint Membership

Today the Townsville & District Mendi Blackhawks are launching our third ticketed Membership package with the help of our next door neighbors, the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys. The Blackhawks Silver Star Membership is an exciting dual membership package for Season 2015 that provides rugby league fans an opportunity to support both our local teams. On hand to assist with the launch were Cowboys membership ambassador Matthew Scott and Blackhawks half Tom Humble.
For just $99 for adults and $59 for children, Blackhawks Silver Star members will receive a general admission ticket to any three Cowboys NRL games at 1300SMILES Stadium in addition to general admission entry to any three home matches in the Blackhawks’ inaugural Intrust Super Cup season. The Blackhawks Silver Star Membership is available for purchase by calling the Cowboys Membership team.
“The close ties between us and the Cowboys are already in place and this membership partnership is just one sign of how they are going to benefit local league fans,” Blackhawks operations manager Adrian Thomson said.
“We’re hoping to have some home games that will run prior to the Cowboys’ matches which will give people the chance to watch three games of footy in the one day – our Intrust Super Cup match and then the NYC and NRL with the Cowboys. That’s when this type of membership will be especially useful, in particular for out-of-town supporters.”
Cowboys general manager – commercial Steve Mitchell agrees “We’re sure there will be plenty of league fans here who will want to see both the Cowboys and Blackhawks in action next season and this membership offers great value to do just that.
“Not only will they feel that special association of being a member of both clubs, the Blackhawks Silver Star members will enjoy all the benefits that each membership offers.”
All Townsville & District Mendi Blackhawks Memberships for the 2015 season are now on sale to the public through Reception at Brothers Leagues Club and will also be available via our website as of today. This is your opportunity to get on-board as the team takes flight in their inaugural season. This is a unique chance to be involved from the very beginning as the Blackhawks take on the Intrust Super Cup in 2015.
As well as the Blackhawks Silver Star Dual Membership there are two other ticketed packages and two non-ticketed packages available for purchase.
The Squadron Membership is our season ticket membership package which will secure members general admission tickets to all 11 home games for season 2015 as well as our Media Polo emblazoned with the word “Inaugural Year 2015” and our merchandise pack containing a stubby cooler, keyring, magnetic season draw, bumper sticker and membership to Brothers Leagues Club and Kirwan Sports & Community Club. This package is on sale for $150.00.
For those who cannot commit to all 11 home games we have a 5th Platoon Membership which includes our Merchandise package as well as general admission tickets to 5 home games of your choice throughout the season. You can become a 5th Platoon Member for the affordable price of $70.00.
Finally there is the Battalion Membership for $40.00 which is excellent value for our out of town fans as it includes a merchandise package without tickets and as with all of our packages exclusive member access to Live Streaming of certain away games via our website. The games that are steamed live will be dependent on the draw and availability of the videographer.
Our youngest fans are not forgotten, they can join the fun with a Cadet Membership for the affordable price of $30.00. This package includes a child’s snapback, drawstring bag, water bottle, tattoo sheet and much more. Don’t forget that children up to the age of 15 are free to enter all Townsville & District Mendi Blackhawks home games!
