The Townsville Mendi Blackhawks recorded their second loss at home in the hands of the Burleigh Bears on the weekend, 20-18.
Despite some outstanding effort, including an almost full length intercept try to flying winger Jonathan Reuben, the Mendi Blackhawks were not able to seal the win.
The Mendi Blackhawks are hoping to bounce back with a win this Sunday against Tweed Heads. Kick off is at 3pm.
