Don’t forget that we will be taking on the Easts Tigers this Sunday at Tap Out Energy Stadium. The match will be screened live on Channel 9 from 1:30pm Sunday! You can read the Intrust Super Cup’s preview of the match here.
Easts are currently sitting in fifth place on the ladder and will be boasting some talent from NRL club the Melbourne Storm. The game will certainly prove a tougher test than the previous meeting of the two clubs which resulted in a huge 40-12 win at home to the Mendi Blackhawks.
The team will be on the road for two weekends in a row as they travel to Brisbane this week and next Friday will be on their way to Kokopo in PNG for another explosive battle with the red hot PNG Hunters. The second placed Hunters have already gotten the upper-hand once against the Mendi Blackhawks this season and will be surely attempting to keep a perfect record at home.
